German government encouraged to borrow more as war approaches

Bond-market message

As fears swirl over Europe’s anemic growth, investors are sending Germany a clear message ahead of its election that there’s room to borrow more.

It’s an unusual stance in an era where governments globally are under scrutiny from so-called bond vigilantes for excessive spending and vast budget deficits. And it’s a tough sell in a country that has long prided itself on fiscal rectitude.

But Germany’s decades of self-discipline have left the country with a limited debt burden, giving it plenty of borrowing power at a time when the economy desperately needs stimulus. And far from punishing the government for borrowing more, investors would welcome increased issuance given the dearth of top-quality bonds in Europe for fund managers to buy.

From Germany’s perspective, now might be a good time for a new government to kick off additional bond issuance. The nation’s borrowing costs — at about 2.50% for 10-year bunds — remain the lowest in Europe, and stand to decline further with the European Central Bank expected to deliver additional interest-rate cuts this year.

Increased supply of German debt is likely to find demand from pension funds, insurers and banks, which need high-quality, long-term assets. Alongside Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg are the only EU countries that are graded AAA from all three major ratings firms.

While it may take higher yields to attract investors, increased German borrowing and spending could ripple through the EU.

“If Germany starts to be a little bit less tightfisted when it comes to spending, that’s going to have a positive impact on the fiscal thrust in Europe over the next few years,” said Mathieu Savary, chief European investment strategist at BCA Research.

  1. Some limited hangout being published on the covid vaccine health destruction. The true number of casualties is not thousands of people, but rather, tens of millions of people.

This MSM article actually goes into much greater detail than previous ones. The collective global oligarchy figures why bother hiding it now when over 80% of American adults took the injections. Moreover, it seems to have a more deleterious effect on caucasians than other races…..

Vaccine victims left disabled after taking Covid jab react to bombshell Yale study that found shots cause extreme body changes

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-14418267/amp/Vaccine-victims-left-disabled-taking-Covid-jab-react-bombshell-Yale-study-shots-cause-extreme-body-changes.html

    1. I waited to see what happens when the establishment first rolled out the Covid vaccines and pushed and prodded us to take them NOW! . I did not trust the new mRNA method of immunization as it was never used before and I really had suspicions when the Covid Vaccine makers were legally immune from liability for any harm. I did not want to be a guinea pig and waited to see what happens after everybody else rushed to get it. I had a fight with my boss as he pressured me to take the vaccine which I didn’t and he claimed I gave him the middle finger for my refusal. I will give the middle finger to everybody to save my life if they are stupid enough to sacrifice their life for a nefarious experiment. Now all of my vaccinated friends and family are experiencing health issues that they never experienced before. My father died of Turbo brain cancer a year ago. My niece suddenly is experiencing auto immune issues and an overall health collapse. I know a friend who was in great health who is suddenly experiencing auto immune issues as well as brain fog.

The lesson learned here is hold your ground on what you believe. Fortunately I learned the easy way.
The other most valuable lesson is to keep a prayer relationship with God. When I faced peer pressure to take these ugly Covid shots, I prayed to the good Lord if I should or should not take the shot. I got a resounding answer to NEVER take these shots. The Lord gave me dreams of my physical health falling apart after these shots. So I did not take the shots.

Somebody in this blog pointed out that the covid shots seem to affect whites more than colored folks. I can bear witness to that as I noticed my Mexican friend who took the Covid shot never felt anything nor suffered any side effects. I think he may have gotten a placebo instead.

Nowadays I stay away from all vaccines including the flu shots and RSV pneumonia shots. These vaccines come from the depths of hell.

  2. Worker Removed for Aiding DOGE Is Made Social Security Boss Within Days

(Bloomberg) — Leland Dudek’s weekend started with a phone call removing him from his job at the Social Security Administration after giving information about the agency to DOGE, the government cost-cutting initiative associated with billionaire Elon Musk.

By Monday, he was named the agency’s acting commissioner.

    1. Fort Knox is well guarded, so that people don’t find out the gold is gone.

Any auditor would probably find stacks of gold plated tungsten bars. Au and W have almost identical densities.

The Fed took all the gold as collateral.

    1. When Putin, Lavrov, and ZeroHedge all agree with Trump, we have a problem. Trump has an either/or mentality.

Okay, zelensky may be a charlatan and a CIA plant, but that doesn’t change things. Imagine if we lived in Ukraine instead of tapping on our cell phones and laptops in peace. I wonder how Trump’s supporters would think if Putin’s military and hired mercenaries were bombing their houses.

        1. I just contemplate; what would any Ukraine leader do? What would I do if I were in zelensky’s shoes? Trump says what Putin, Lavrov, ZH say. Stand down? The argument is redirected as as zelensky is a plant. But that doesn’t change things. I mean Ukraine is getting bulldozed and so is Russia. Three years now.

What would you do if you were in charge of Ukraine?

          1. For a start, I’d play Rebbe Schneerson’s 1994 speech about having a war where Ukrainians and Russians kill each other for the benefit of the Jews on TV every day. He said the Ukrainians would think they are fighting Soviet expansion and the Russians would think they are fighting Neo-Nazis “and so on” – and that’s more or less what happened.

I’d recognise the fact that the Russ came from Kiev in the first place so killing each other makes no sense.

I wouldn’t be a Jew who played a piano with his dick.

I wouldn’t be a Jew supporting a Nazi Azov battalion while accepting money from anti-Nazi USA organizations either, just because it doesn’t make any sense, and can only happen as part of an insane scam.

I would expose the true origins of the EU before cozying up to them.

I’d explain why I’m a Jew in charge of a country that other Jews are on record as wanting to destroy.

I’d expose the “Northern Jerusalem” plot.

I wouldn’t kidnap and force Ukrainian men to the front line for a hopeless war.

I wouldn’t murder guys like Coach Red Pill for making vids.

I wouldn’t publish fake AI generated war footage.

Maybe Ukraine was always doomed, but this war was never going to save it.

Maybe there’s just no way out for Ukraine? Does it have any real friends? Does the EU really care? The EU doesn’t even care about Europeans.

Is Zelensky really a Ukrainian patriot? All I know is that this war was planned by certain people decades ago and Zelensky played his part, as did Putin.

Your question is like asking what should the Palestinians do? What can they do?

            1. So, we should let Russia take over Ukraine? We both know that won’t end there. We both know Putin will kill millions of Russian soldiers to resurrect the Warsaw Pact. I get your frustration and derogatory remarks and I don’t necessarily disagree with you. However, my criticisms of zelensky are outside the scope of this blog for me.

I think about Poland, Hungary, the Baltic states, which are already OPEC members and border Russia. The whole argument of Ukraine belonging to OPEC is rather academic when OPEC members already border Russia.

There’s nothing but disinformation on both sides and I find the criticism of zelinsky a logic fallacy and a strawman and red herring. It just doesn’t make sense anymore, even after 3 years.

So Ukraine holds an election and boots out zelinsky. What then? Fold like a cheap tent to Russia?

So what if the Jew at the center of it all has both sides fighting one another. Last time I looked, Russia was bombing people’s houses in Ukraine. Maybe we should ask those people what they think. Maybe we should ask the ukrainians who live in Kiev, like the ones on YouTube, who absolutely hate Russia, what they think.

The Jew banker has been involved in all of the major wars going back since the formation of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, and before. Again, people like Tim and you are redirecting and creating life in issues that may be just coincidental. Again, at this point, does it really matter? The questions remain unanswered.

And if Trump diddles little children and it’s on video? Does it matter at this point? I assume all of the global leaders diddle little children.

When dealing with the alt-media all I get are a bag of non sequiturs and straw man arguments.

              1. True. If we let Ukraine fold to Russia, Putin will not stop there. He will be emboldened to take other countries bordering Russia such as the Baltic states and Finland. He will take Eastern Europe.

Does anyone today remember when Neal Chamberlain allowed Hitler to take Austria and Czechoslovakia in the name of preserving “peace in our time”. All that did was embolden Hitler to march into other countries.

I have doubts about Trump’s handling of Ukraine and his dealings with Putin. He is kissing up to another enemy like Obama kissed up to Iran and Cuba.

              2. The Bolsheviks (jews) have been a thorn in the side of Ukraine since early 1900, as you indicated. Their goal is to spread communism with the aim of world domination. Land will be passed back and forth to appease the other side, but nothing will really change. People are cannon fodder in the end. Once this war is brought to a close, the real action will be in the middle east and fake Israel. The west bank as it’s called will be annexed by the fake state as their will be no two state solution. Their never was going to be. Trump and his cohorts will play a major role in this!

              3. It is a conundrum.

I guess the real question is why do the Ukrainians hate Russia? Ethnically, they are the same people (unless Russia is hopelessly Mongoloid now?) so it would make sense from a racial perspective for Ukraine to merge with Russia.

I get that they hate each other, but is it for BS reasons like with North vs. South Ireland, or Croatia vs. Serbia, or North vs. South Korea, or other places with similar problems? I think Korea is split because China does not want a border with a US outpost, so they preserved North Korea as a buffer zone. Otherwise they could have easily taken over the North and left the South to the US, but then they would share an even hotter border. A similar situation existed with Vietnam. The US had a policy of “containment” against Communism and avoided direct confrontation. The result was a list of split countries surrounding China. That must really annoy the CCP, but they are patient.

Perhaps Ukraine should have said to Europe “let us join you or we’ll join Russia”? But they are too stubborn to join Russia. If Russia is still secretly communist I guess we can’t blame Ukraine, but they are then forced to do the heavy lifting against Russia and they are far to weak to survive that forever. They are doomed if they take on that burden, and Zelensky forced them to do so.

Why is Ukraine always the odd one out, the meat in the sandwich? Is that a long term sustainable position? I don’t think so.

The real (Jewish) reasons for their predicament are never openly acknowledged, so a solution will never be found.

Bjerknes says the Federal Reserve, aside from it’s negative aspect, was a force that helped the US to win WW1 and WW2 and now Trump seeks to dismantle that force in order for the US to lose WW3.

Maybe the gold is in Fort Knox, maybe it’s all there? Maybe Trump intends to sell it? Guess who will buy it. Bjerknes thinks the gold will be sold and then used to pave the streets of Jerusalem when the third temple is built, as in the prophecies.

What do you think of that theory?

                https://old.bitchute.com/video/naPP16vO2oeb/

              4. “The Jew banker has been involved in all of the major wars going back since the formation of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913, and before. Again, people like Tim and you are redirecting and creating life in issues that may be just coincidental. Again, at this point, does it really matter? The questions remain unanswered.”

OK, I get that you don’t like my questions, or maybe you don’t like the answers? Unless it’s a genuine war to save the white race, I’m out. I’m a pacifist. I’m a conscientious objector.

If the Chinese invade my country I’ll just watch. I’ll learn a bit of Chinese so I can tell them about the jews maybe and that’s about it. Then it’s off to a camp or whatever. I’m not fighting to save multiculturalism or whatever. What’s the point?

If that seems defeatist, maybe it is. But fighting in one of these contrived wars means you’ve already lost, IMO. I’ll be a good little communist if that’s what we’re doing now. It’s not much of a change from current modes of thinking is it?

OK, what’s the flaw in my thinking? I’d like to know.

I remember doing the “Troubles Tour” in Ireland. They showed us the murals, and the streets painted in Red, White and Blue, next to the streets painted in Orange and Green. They showed us the Catholic and Protestant murals. The thing I noted about the murals was that all of them were covered in paintings of niggers in Africa and messages accusing the other side of being “racist”. WTF!? I thought the fight was about Ireland, not niggers. Well, fast forward 20 years and Ireland is full of niggers. What’s the IRA doing now? What are the Unionists doing? Nothing – it looks like they both got what they wanted I guess. They both won! A first in the annals of war.

Are Russians bad people? Do they think Americans are bad people? Maybe they do. They are told about all the trannies and gays 24/7, and don’t want that so they need to “defend themselves” against US BS. Is that how it works? Is that how Russians are motivated? Does the average Russian soldier want to “spread communism” like the average US soldier thinks he’s “defending democracy”? Most Russians hate communism don’t they? So why are they fighting in Ukraine? What do they believe in? Do they think Ukraine is full of Nazis? Does anyone know? Do they see a point in shooting Ukrainians or is it just their job so they do it for the pay check? I’d like to hear the Russian perspective on this for a change.

              5. Large portions of the Ukrainians hate the Russian government. Putin and the Russian government are inventing excuses to invade Ukraine, because Russia wants to reinstitute the Warsaw Pact bloc.

That’s it. That’s all. Everything else is just diversions.

It’s that simple. It doesn’t matter about zelensky. At least half ukrainians would rather join the EU. Ukrainians visit Poland, Lithuania, and Hungary and they see what happens with former Warsaw Pact nations that align with Western Europe and EU. These ukrainians want that, and do you blame them? They want nothing to do with Russia and that past.

Who gives two shits if Russia and Ukraine have some common heritage? Ask Canada if they care if the US invades them. Both countries are based on British power and have similar customs and traditions. They even look that same. So what?

The Ukrainians who voice their views are not pro-Putin nor pro-Russian.

Jews created the backdrop for EVERYTHING that undermines the nations. Jesus said they are responsible for all the spilling of righteous Adamic man blood back to Abel. They were instrumental as the Catholic money changers for the crusades, the blood spilled all throughout the history of the Caucasians history. That’s what they do.

Putin is terribly wicked and the worst offending liar. That’s all he does. Everything Putin says is a lie. It’s the Soviet thing.

All other stuff you talk about regarding everything else is superfluous. It doesn’t really matter in the big picture.

If the United States leaves Europe to defend itself, Russia will eventually steamroll all the former Warsaw Pact nations back into the reborn Soviet Union. Europe will not be able to deal with the losses that Putin’s Russia doesn’t mind being subjected to. Russia could lose 20 million people and Putin wouldn’t give a shit.

              6. Bob, It seems like the Gemini (Twin) conspiracy in action.

“Directive to implement a counterfeit of an existing concept, ideology, system etc., or to remove the clarity of distinction between the genuine article and the intended counterfeit.”

              7. Bob, just remember, these Jews (edomites) are nomads in the sense that they may live in a given country but are not ethnically part of it. These people have been expelled from almost every country they have planted them selves in. So, why is Russia at war with Ukraine, both slavic? It is not the ethnic Russian who is the primary instigator! Same goes for Ukraine.

              8. There isn’t a war going on. It’s all theater. And before someone asks me to prove it, and I can…i’ll ask you to prove there is a Ukraine/Russian war going on without any obvious hokey fake mainstream news media footage.

However the real issue is why are there no Authority figures speaking out, are they afraid of losing their jobs and pensions? Why do we have to come on this website and others, to try to find out some sort of truth about events…

Teachers, Religious leaders, Law Enforcement officials, Politicians, Corporate leaders, all the arrogant know it all types, none of them…maybe a few statements but censored or worded in a way so it’s quickly glanced over. Nobody is being arrested for fraud. No justice and no truth, mostly all disinformation. And all these hoaxes continue on.

    1. I like your use of the name Charles Martel. He was a very important person in the history of the European Caucasian race. Never underestimate his importance in maintaining biblical teachings in the West. Imagine if he lost the Battle of Tours.

Isaiah 3 is very interesting. The chapter is often referred to as an allegory in reference to societal collapse. Thus, it’s as applicable to today as when Isaiah first wrote it.

In the strictest sense, this chapter was fulfilled when judah’s land was taken away by the Assyrians and Babylonians. Though Jerusalem remained, that was eventually submerged when Judah and Benjamin were taken into Babylonian captivity.

Isaiah was careful to mention Judah specifically and not refer to Israel. Though all 12 (13) tribes were considered Israelites, the northern kingdom was referred to as Israel. Thus, Isaiah was referring specifically to the southern Kingdom in this instance. The northern kingdom was taken into Assyrian captivity between 725 and 721 BC, based on my memory. Isaiah was probably looking on all of this and saying it was coming to Judah as well.

Though the word feminism was not invented when Isaiah wrote the third chapter, he did describe the situation where the men had abdicated their responsibilities, while the vacuum was filled by women and children. Kind of like what we see today. It seems that Judah dabbled in Babylonian communism before it was even known as such.

Okay, given what we know about the lost sheep of the House of Israel and where they settled, if Isaiah had ex post facto referred to Israel, specifically, in this chapter, we could make a case that there is some sort of double fulfillment. I’m not going to make the case of a double fulfillment for Judah, since the nation state of Israel today is not Judah in the true sense. Rather it is an imposter.

      1. Pantone color of the year for 2025 is Mocha mousse. A lot of women will not wear brown so this is akin to telling them to wear sackcloth.

    1. No wonder why the Delta plane crashed in Toronto. While there are competent women pilots out there, it appears this company focused on DEI hiring based on gender and skin color instead of competence.
Just by looking at the pictures these women seemed like idiots.

      1. It’s the hubris. We are surrounded by people who have no idea what they don’t know.

The critical functions like linesman, sewer and water infrastructure, drilling etc are still mostly done by competent white men who largely work unsupervised. If that goes, so does everyones’ comfortable life.

        1. I remember after Covid there were so many potholes in the roads people were dying from crashes. Hit a 1 foot deep pothole at 100 km/hr and it’s a problem.

They are mostly fixed now, but it was weird how maintenance just stopped during covid. The roads were very bad. I hit a few holes, it was like driving in Africa for a while.

  3. Unless there are mitigating circumstances, I normally recommend investors not to time the debt markets and to borrow at longer-term fixed rates as this allows us to deal with less uncertainty. It’s much easier for us versus the US Treasury to refinance if the opportunity arises….

There’s a reason why I say this; when we invest, we are supposed to look at the merits of the investment itself and are not supposed to speculate on other markets like the bond market. If an auspicious opportunity arises to refinance down the road, then we refinance. But Investments should be based on stand alone analysis and not speculation.

Bessent Says Terming Out US Debt ‘A Long Way Off’

    Scott Bessent

(Bloomberg) — US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that any move to term out US debt would come after bringing down energy costs and deregulation.

“That’s a long way off,” Bessent told Bloomberg Television on Thursday.

The US Treasury earlier this month maintained its guidance on keeping sales of longer-term debt unchanged well into 2025, despite Bessent having criticized the issuance strategy of his predecessor Janet Yellen before he was picked for the job.

  4. From Seeking Alpha this morning. The people never learn….

Remember the “stimmy” checks sent during the pandemic? They might be making a comeback… in a different form. The idea of a “DOGE dividend” first surfaced on social media by Azoria CEO James Fishback and was later pitched to the White House by Elon Musk. President Trump likes the idea, referring to the recent numbers coming from DOGE’s cost-cutting efforts as “incredible.”

The proposal: Should DOGE be able to cut $2T from the federal budget, the government could use 20% of those savings to send 79M American households (that pay federal income tax) a check for $5,000. Another “20% would go towards paying down debt” as the “top DOGE priority remains reducing the deficit to stop inflation and lower interest rates.” The new scheme would also “incentivize Americans to report ‘waste, fraud and abuse’ to DOGE” to hit the $2T savings target.

Musk has already acknowledged that $2T will be hard to hit, and it appears that the value of some contracts and real estate entries posted to DOGE’s “Wall Of Receipts” are not necessarily savings. The total amount saved thus far is listed as $55B, though some of those contracts stipulate the maximum price tag that can be awarded and are not necessarily indicative of the amount spent. Savings listed on things like “fraud detection/deletion” and “workforce reductions” are also estimated and may not denote final numbers.

Fine print: DOGE dividends would be funded by the money that’s cut or defunded from prior funds allocated by Congress, setting up a situation that would likely involve wrangling over the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. It restricts a president from withholding funds that were appropriated on Capitol Hill, but its constitutionality could be appealed to the Supreme Court. The law may also be amended by Congress, or rescissions (canceled funds) could return to the Republican-controlled Congress, which would then have 45 days to decide on their fate.

    1. It seems to me they are only canceling the mandates, but the vax is still available.

In the US a large fraction of the population are still taking boosters.

It’s amazing that some people died from one shot, and other people are on shot 10 now. There appears to be some variation in efficacy.

        1. All of my vaccinated family members and friends are also experiencing new and strange health problems in the last 3 years.

          1. I haven’t seen much of that, but maybe people are keeping quiet. Most people I know seem fine, but a couple have cancer.

But like Fauci said, it can take 12 to 15 years to see all the side effects from a vaccine.

          2. My wife now has lupus with an autoimmune kidney disorder. She has problems with her blood as well. All post jab. She’s very evasive about telling me her conditions. I married someone younger so I could have someone change my diapers, but it looks like I might be doing the changing instead.

But the thing is, on the outside, she looks fine. I wouldn’t know anything unless she told me. She’s in and out of the doctors and getting tests a lot. All of this strange sickness keeps the economy moving forward.

All my problems started after I got covid, but I wonder if it was also because of the jabs. Once the gyms were open again in 2021, I used to go again daily. All those people were vaccinated in the libtardville. That’s when all my problems started. I haven’t been back to the gym in about 3 years once I realized what I was doing with the libtard vaccinated.

Now, I don’t seem to have those problems anymore. I never had an autoimmune issue in my life and there I was with a horrible one. Fenbendazole and ivermectin did the trick. If the medical system goes bankrupt, because Medicare and Medicaid are no longer around, people will be handed out boxes of ivermectin and fenbendazole to cure cancer in the covid syndrome diseases. The crap works.

            1. I married someone younger so I could have someone change my diapers, but it looks like I might be doing the changing instead. Now that’s a Funny line!

  5. Carville says Trump playing 4D chess while Democrats still looking for board – Washington Times
    Joseph Curl

James Carville, the sharp-tongued Democratic strategist known for his colorful tirades and unmatched ability to say what everyone’s thinking (but shouldn’t), has acknowledged that President Trump’s breakneck pace in his second term is leaving Democrats in a complete daze.

On an episode of his podcast, “Politics War Room,” last week, Mr. Carville confessed to co-host Al Hunt that the Democratic Party is failing to keep up. “We’re getting overwhelmed,” he said, clearly exasperated. “Things that we thought would kill a political career, this guy shrugs off and keeps chugging along.”

It appears that the Democrats have been left playing checkers while Mr. Trump has mastered 4D chess. Or, as former Trump whisperer Steve Bannon once eloquently put it, “flood the zone with s—.” According to Mr. Carville, Mr. Bannon’s strategy is working a little too well. “We’re flooded in s—, and we’re still searching for a way to shovel it out,” Mr. Carville said, summing up the party’s state with Cajun frankness.

Oh, how tangled the web has become. “I can’t even tell what’s going on anymore. I’m struggling. Maybe someone smarter than me can figure this out because it’s all just … incomprehensible,” Mr. Carville said.

Mr. Carville’s take was similar to that of political pundit Andrew Sullivan, who also said Mr. Trump was trying to flood the zone. “The words ‘shock and awe’ describe the first month of the second Trump administration pretty well, it seems to me,” he wrote in a recent piece. “It’s been a blitzkrieg of executive orders, mass firings, violations of laws and norms, wanton cruelty for the sick, destitute, and hungry, and performative administrative chaos as far as the eye can see — all designed to paralyze and stun what’s left of the opposition.”

It’s not just Mr. Trump that Mr. Carville aims at; he has (as always) plenty of ammunition for his own party. He pointed to a recent Democratic National Committee meeting that went viral — not for the reasons the party might want. Some overly woke policies have led him to believe there’s an undercover “plant” deliberately sabotaging the Democrats from within.

“It’s stunningly stupid,” Mr. Carville lamented. “Like, how many jacka– things can we possibly add to our platform?”

If someone is sabotaging the Democrats, they seem to be doing a wonderful job. Might it be time to stop searching for the mystery saboteur and start looking in the mirror?

On the Republican side, Mr. Trump has shown no signs of slowing down. The man stomped into his second term as if auditioning for the lead role in “The Fast and the Furious 15.” Within weeks, he had signed a dizzying number of executive orders, launched investigations into government spending, slapped tariffs on several countries, and taken further measures to tighten U.S. borders — all while the Democrats were still trying to organize their talking points.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Dean Phillips hit the nail on the head this week in an interview with CNN, where he flat-out said, “Democrats are being steamrolled.”

If having Mr. Trump steamrolling the political opposition wasn’t enough, his right-hand man is none other than Department of Government Efficiency head — and part-time Twitter chaos agent — Elon Musk. “He has no accountability other than to Donald Trump, and that’s a frightening combination,” Mr. Phillips said.

Even the former Obama aides who hosted “Pod Save America” had to grudgingly give credit where credit was due. Mr. Trump and Mr. Musk’s relentless efficiency efforts, they said, have been surprisingly popular — especially with millennials and Generation Z. “It’s the kind of stuff we should’ve done,” said Jon Lovett, a former Obama speechwriter.

But Mr. Carville wasn’t finished. He signed off his podcast with one last plea for clarity. “I’m begging here, folks — can we get it together? Can someone smarter than me untangle what the heck is going on right now?”

One thing is clear: A recent Quinnipiac University poll showed favorable views of the Democratic Party at their lowest level ever and favorable views of the Republican Party at their highest. But Democrats appear determined not to learn from the 2024 election. As the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Ken Martin, said, “Anyone saying we need to start over with a new message is wrong.”

That should tell you everything you need to know about the Democratic Party.

  6. Victor Davis Hanson – Trump’s counter revolution in Washington

    https://youtu.be/eZX6TxQeJ8A?si=N7z9qk2kuzMM4ltK

Victor Davis Hanson discusses the misleading information about the first 30 days of the Trump administration’s actions, comparing it to FDR’s first hundred days. On this episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” Hanson describes the current period as a “Trump restoration” rather than a revolution, emphasizing it as a counterrevolution against the changes brought by the Obama administration.

“ We don’t really appreciate what we’ve been through with eight years of the Obama revolution and the four-year, more radical third term of Obama using or employing the wax effigy of Joe Biden. A revolution that we’ve experienced was a cultural, economic, political, social revolution. It was very similar to the French Revolution under the Robespierre brothers. You should remember what they tried to do. They changed the days of the week. They renamed things. They tore down statues. They went after the churches. Does this sound familiar? …

“ So this was a revolutionary movement. Movies were different. Sports were different. Take a knee. And Donald Trump came in and it was not sufficient to say we’re going to stop the madness of $37 billion. …  It’s a return to normalcy. It’s a return to common sense. It only looks revolutionary to revolutionaries. But to the rest of the people, it is a counterrevolution to restore normalcy and bring the country from the far-left fringes back home again.”

    1. Good summary of the tyranny the democrats imposed on sanity. All of those degradations were imposed top down, and having them removed in whatever means short of patriots standing up is light years more palatable

  7. Republicans Happily Roll Over as Trump Declares Himself King

Donald Trump made the stunning announcement while trying to roll back congestion pricing in New York.

Donald Trump called himself “THE KING” on Wednesday, and the rest of the White House was overjoyed to see the president was dropping the pretense of democracy.

Trump announced in a post on Truth Social that his administration would challenge New York City’s recent policy installing congestion pricing, with an added rhetorical twist.

“CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED. LONG LIVE THE KING!” Trump wrote.

While not exactly surprising given Trump’s previous references to himself as the savior of the country, and his penchant for trolling, the president dubbing himself a “king” should theoretically rub everyone the wrong way—but not the fascists who work for him.

Alas, the right-wing shills that run Trump’s communications basked in the wash of his declaration of unchecked power.

On Tuesday night, Elon Musk claimed that “if the will of the president is not implemented, and the president is representative of the people, that means the will of the people is not being implemented. And that means we don’t live in a democracy, we live in a bureaucracy.”

It’s not a bureaucracy Americans need fear, but a monarchy.

  8. Trump seems to be under orders to separate the US from mainland Europe. Britain will separate itself from Europe and align with Oceania.

The German government should take advantage of their relatively low real bond yields to build up its military. It’s looking more likely that Donald Trump is throwing the entire EU and Ukraine to the dogs in order to get some sort of truce.

This reminds me of the Yalta conference where Europe was divvied up to Eurasia and Oceania. Trump seems to want to concentrate on the Western hemisphere and let Europe deal with its own problems.

The EU has run hundreds of billions of dollars of trade surpluses for decades versus the United States and with Europe going full communist, it seems the US is letting it go. Germany seems more obsessed with wind and solar power and overwhelming its borders with non-congruent people, than building up its military.

More and more Americans agree. For decades, Europe relied upon the US military and it got soft. Europe is now defenseless as Germany rearranges its deck chairs on the Titanic as it’s more worried about enforcing hate crime laws and not offending foreigners within its own country. Germany brought this on themselves. Perhaps Germany will be divided again back into East and West Germany.

Over the next several years, we’ll see the three main geopolitical blocs emerge; Oceania, Eurasia, and EastAsia.

Russia doesn’t have the capability to overwhelm, subdue, and control mainland Europe. Perhaps there will be some sort of arrangement with the EU and the Warsaw Pact nations.

I have no opinion one way or the other, but this just seems like the path of least resistance as the war in Ukraine has stretched on for three full years and Russia has no compunction on ending at any time soon, regardless of the death and destruction Putin brings. It’s becoming more clear that Putin wants to resurrect the Warsaw Pact structure. It doesn’t really look that Trump will stand in the way.

Zelensky is “Dictator Without Elections”, Donald Trump

    https://youtu.be/S-VtIkvha-k?si=yxb3vtQOmllIvE-N

US President Donald Trump has intensified his attacks on Ukraine’s wartime President.

The US President accused Volodymyr Zelenskyy of being a “dictator” in a post on Truth Social.

He said his Ukrainian counterpart had done a “terrible job” and that he “better move fast or he is not going to have a country left”.

Earlier, President Trump accused Ukraine of starting the war with Russia and called on the Ukrainian President to hold elections, claiming he had an approval rating of four per cent.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to those claims, saying Donald Trump has fallen for Russian disinformation.

    1. Japan, Taiwan, Phillipines, and Korean peninsula will get overtaken by China to become east asia according to 1984. Yes, I mean Japan will get invaded by China as they won’t stop at Taiwan.

      1. Yep. When it starts, the pieces will move so fast we won’t even be able to keep up with them. If we think things are fast now, just wait as the geopolitical landscape is rearranged according to the three large blocs going out to 2030.

The world maps will have to be reconfigured once again.

      1. Interesting. Though I think we won’t see any real cuts in defense spending, I do like the nod to Judges 6 and Gideon’s army. It’s refreshing seeing a biblical reference versus some sort of satanic or talmud mention.

      2. Sorry the above post should be edited to read * Should be codenamed project Gideon

I don’t know of any official source that has announced it as such

  9. Elon Musk considers DOGE dividend that would send $5,000 to Americans

Elon Musk showed interest in an idea that would guarantee a $5,000 payment, or ‘DOGE Dividend,’ to every American to show off the $55 billion in taxpayer funds saved.

The Department of Government Efficiency revealed Tuesday that President Donald Trump has saved taxpayers a staggering $55 billion in less than a month.

DOGE claims the savings were found through a combination of detecting and deleting fraud, canceling contracts and leases, and selling assets.

      1. Imagine the inflation that would cause. If we thought $3,000 for covid was a lot, $5,000 would really destroy the yield curve. Maybe that’s the intention.

          1. Everything would pump. BTC would hit 150k. Stocks would move higher as most people will spend it like it was burning a hole in their pockets. Houses and rents would spiral higher.

  10. China’s holdings of U.S. Treasuries fall to lowest level since 2009

    Financial Times, London
    Wednesday, February 19, 2025

China’s holdings of Treasuries have fallen to their lowest level since 2009, as Beijing holds more of its U.S. government bonds through lower-profile accounts and diversifies into alternative assets.

The value of U.S. sovereign debt held by Chinese investors fell by $57 billion to $759 billion in 2024, data published by the U.S. Treasury on Tuesday showed. This does not include Chinese-owned Treasuries held in accounts in other countries.

Analysts say the change partly reflects China’s desire to diversify its foreign reserves by buying assets such as gold. But they add that Beijing is seeking to disguise the true extent of its Treasury holdings by shifting them to custodian accounts registered elsewhere.

“China made a decision around 2010 that holding Treasuries was a risk, it looked bad optically that so much of China’s wealth was in the hands of a geopolitical rival,” said Brad Setser, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and former U.S. Treasury official. …
