Where are the Democrats? The dialectic process moves forward

The more clownish Trump sounds, the quieter the Democrats become

Note to reader: Where are the Democrats throughout all this? Were the communist-leaning Democrats correct all along? Perhaps the Democrats played their dialectic part in creating this emerging constitutional crisis. While the Democrats did lose on all fronts last election, the Republican’s hold in the house is extremely slim. It’s as if the Democrats have given up.

While Trump supporters continue reveling, Congressman Jerry Connelly, my local Democrat congressman mentioned in the article below, now sounds almost like a clownish version of his former self as he staggers in the wilderness. Obama is divorcing his husband and the Democrats are now a wizened old geezer on life support. Where is the pushback when Trump contemplates taking over the Gaza Strip with US military?

The following is an article from the New York Post. The Trump supporters are now reveling in their hatred of the Democrats, and rightfully so. The dialectic process inches the nation ever so closer towards a functional dictatorship.

Don’t upset the Trump regime or we’ll end up somewhere in Oceania’s international gulag system, where our prison accommodations will be determined by the lowest bidder. The book, Midnight Express, comes to mind.

Michael Goodwin: Dems wallow in denial and do the dumbest things – proving they haven’t learned a thing from Trump’s win
New York Post, February 5

It’s been four months since Donald Trump and Republicans swept the 2024 elections — and Democrats haven’t learned a thing.

Here are three snapshots of a party wallowing in denial: When the eight candidates running to head the Democratic National Committee were asked if they believed “racism and misogyny” were factors in Kamala Harris’ defeat, all eight raised their hands.

When congressional Dems gathered outside the headquarters of the rogue USAID agency that Trump plans to shrink or close, one of their lead speakers was the antisemitic terror defender and America-hating Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Then there’s New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, who said Saturday he was hiding an illegal immigrant in his house and challenged ICE, saying “good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”

I’ve long believed Trump has a gift for driving his opponents over the edge.

Sputtering mad over his style and success, they say and do the dumbest things, which reveals them to be the real crazies.

Murphy plays the fool

Take Murphy: His office quickly backtracked, saying there is no illegal immigrant living in his house and that he was referring to a legal immigrant who is a friend.

Huh?

So why did he feel the need to lie and make himself out to be a deportation resister?

And why in the same speech did he go back to the Hitler, Hitler, Hitler nonsense that failed during the campaign?

“Germans in the ’20s and ’30s got tired. They got sick of fighting and look at the price we paid,” Murphy said.

Trump’s success is driving him nuts, so Murphy retaliates by making a fool of himself!

Such is the case with much of Washington as Dems and their media mouthpieces rage over the president’s first two weeks in office. In their rush to paint Trump as an extremist, they are saying and doing extreme things.

They’re also showing their ignorance.

Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly foolishly tried to summon the ghost of Winston Churchill’s famous World War II pledge that “We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall never surrender.”

Connolly’s embarrassing imitation came outside the closed USAID building when he said: “We are going to fight in every way we can in the courts, in public opinion, with the bully pulpit, in the halls of Congress, and here at USAID itself. We are not going to let this injustice happen.”

Churchill he’s not, nor is the slashing of unaccountable spending the equivalent of World War II.

Resistance is passe

Huff and puff as they might, the resistance movement doesn’t have nearly the same appeal it did when Trump took office in 2017.

Then streets in big blue cities were filled with protesters as pink pussy hats became a symbol of defiance.

The zeal persisted and led to the effort to drive him from office, starting with the despicable Russia hoax that was a fabrication of the FBI and Hillary Clinton.

It failed, only to be repeated following the 2020 election by a series of prosecutions designed to lock him up and keep him off the ballot, scandalous moves urged by Joe Biden and carried out by Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI.

None of it worked — in fact, the weaponization of the FBI and the courts backfired and helped lift Trump to victory.

So did the assassination attempts, which I believe were inspired by claims he was a threat to democracy.

Yet most top Dem officials are still trying to stoke the old anger, as if it’s the only playbook they know.

What they should do instead is do an honest, no-sacred-cows-spared assessment of why he’s in the Oval Office and Kamala Harris is grocery shopping in California.

Such an examination would begin with the admission the party has lost touch with the majority of voters. Trump won all seven battleground states and was the first Republican to win the national popular vote in 20 years.

The broad result indicates something far larger than a “messaging problem,” which is the only mistake the dead-enders will concede.

In fact, voters understood exactly who the Dems are and what they stand for.

That’s why Trump pulled in record numbers of black, Latino, Asian and young people as he transformed the GOP into a middle- and working-class party.

The country wanted big changes, and Harris promised more of the same.

Even now, her party still misses the point when it goes after Trump for staffing his administration with people outside the usual government boxes and for launching tariff wars.

Did they really think he was going to have a conventional administration?

One of the silliest arguments The New York Times makes is a near-daily accusation that Trump’s efforts amount to “revenge.”

The implication is that the only acceptable administration is one that pursues Biden’s policies and allows the permanent government to continue to control everything.

And while it’s true there are a few questionable players on Trump’s team — RFK Jr. for one — the larger truth is that his administration already is a huge upgrade over Biden’s team of losers.

Most important, Trump is doing exactly what he promised — and what the public voted for.

Isn’t that democracy?

Get these numbers: Some 87% of adults favor deporting illegal immigrants with criminal records in one of the Times’ own polls, while 74% of registered voters support it in a Wall Street Journal poll.

The Times also found that 55% support deporting all illegal immigrants.

Trump’s finger on pulse

Other surveys found huge backing for other Trump policies.

One found 57% support for his decision to send the military to secure the southern border, 56% support for his demand that federal employees return to the office full-time and 54% support for his blocking the use of federal funds to promote gender ideology.

Those are big numbers in a polarized nation and if Dems continue to oppose such popular, common-sense corrections, they’ll be spending a lot more time in the wilderness.

In fact, it’s impossible to say what they stand for that most Americans want.

All we know is that they remain committed to opposing everything Trump says and does.

The new head of the DNC, Ken Martin, a party lifer from Minnesota, struck a sour note in his victory speech.

“I’ve always viewed my role’s as a chair of the Democratic Party to take the low road so my candidates and elected officials can take the high road,” Martin said.

“So Donald Trump, Republican Party: This is a new DNC. We are not going to sit back and not take you on when you fail the American people.”

If it really were a new DNC, Dems would have a fighting chance of winning back public trust.

Instead, they are living examples of the maxim that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

  1. Meanwhile, in Sweden, personal rights continue to be wiped away. Only the US still has 2A protections. USAID and synagogue sponsored Reuters reports….

Sweden to tighten gun laws after mass shooting at school

OREBRO, Sweden (Reuters) – Sweden’s right-wing government said on Friday it would seek to tighten gun laws in the wake of the country’s deadliest mass shooting at an adult education centre where the attacker appeared to have used several of his own licensed rifles.

Ten people were shot dead at the Campus Risbergska school in Orebro on Tuesday, before the man believed to be the perpetrator – identified by a Reuters source and Swedish media as Rickard Andersson, a 35-year-old Swedish recluse – turned a weapon on himself.

Police confirmed on Friday that the suspected shooter was a 35-year-old man, and said they had completed the identification of all the victims, although they did not release any names.

Seven women and four men between 28 and 68 years of age died in Tuesday’s attack, including the suspect, police said in a statement.

Among the victims were several Christians who fled persecution in Syria. Police say they have found no evidence of an ideological motive so far.

Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said the event had sparked fear and a sense of vulnerability among many people with immigrant backgrounds in Sweden, calling for everyone to “unite and stand behind all that we hold dear together”.

“My thoughts are with the relatives who have now received the call that is the worst one can get. To you, I want to say: you are not alone. We stand beside you,” he said in a social media post on Friday evening.

The government has agreed with its far-right backers in parliament to tighten up the vetting process for people applying for gun licences and to clamp down on some semi-automatic weapons.

It said the AR-15, an assault rifle based on a military design that has been used in many mass shootings in the United States, was the kind of gun it wanted banned.

“In light of the horrible shooting in Orebro earlier this week we believe that the right balance is to roll back the regulation and prohibit that kind of weapon,” Justice Minister Gunnar Strommer told Reuters.

He said it was not clear yet what kind of guns had been used in the attack in Orebro and banning AR-15 weapons would be a “preventative measure”.

“We know that kind of weapon, with some changes, can become very dangerous and also that it has been used in that kind of shooting in other countries,” he said.

AR-15 rifles have been permitted for hunting since 2023 and Strommer said around 3,500 have been licensed since then.

Sweden’s main opposition party, the Social Democrats, welcomed the move but called for more far-reaching vetting and controls. “There is a before and after February 4,” Social Democrat lawmaker Theresa Carvalho told a press conference.

Police have not specified what kind of weapons were used in the attack, saying only that three rifles licensed to the suspected killer were found near his dead body. Local media have reported he had a hunting license.

The attack has also raised questions about whether security at Sweden’s schools needs to be better. Unlike in many other countries, schools are generally seen as semi-public spaces and rarely have any controls on who can go in and out.

    SECURITY CAMERAS

The government is looking at speeding up legislation already going through parliament that would make it easier for schools to install surveillance cameras, Justice Minister Gunnar Strommer told Swedish media on Thursday.

Sweden has a high level of gun ownership by European standards, though it is much lower than in the United States. Most weapons are held legally for hunting, but a wave of gang crime has highlighted the high incidence of illegal handguns.

Figures from 2017 by The Small Arms Survey, a Swiss-based research institute, showed there were about 2.3 million guns held by civilians in Sweden. That is around 23 guns per 100 people compared to 120 in the United States and 4.6 in Britain.

The attack has left Sweden in mourning and police are still trying to determine a motive. They are looking into information he was at some point a student at the school.

  2. Now that Trump is in office, Bloomberg is now worried about consumer debt….

Bloomberg – The miracle that is the post-pandemic US economy keeps chugging along, but there’s a big problem just below the surface, and it’s only getting bigger: debt. Outstanding US consumer debt surged by the most on record in December, reflecting massive increases in credit-card balances and non-revolving credit. Total credit jumped $40.8 billion, according to Federal Reserve data released Friday. The figure, which isn’t adjusted for inflation, topped all estimates in a Bloomberg survey of economists.

Outstanding credit-card and other revolving debt increased $22.9 billion in December, more than reversing the prior month’s decline. Non-revolving credit, such as loans for vehicle purchases and school tuition, climbed $18 billion, the most in two years. The delinquency rate has risen, too, with some 3.5% of card balances past due by 30 or more days and 1.8% of accounts delinquent. Both figures are more than double the post-pandemic lows recorded in 2021.

  4. Difference between Whites and the Chinese:

If a pro-white group needs a meeting venue, Chinese restaurants are the best place. No hassles. Most other venues will not take the business or will report you.

If you need a 20 foot long “Anti-racist is just a code word for White genocide” banner, the Chinese printer says “How many you want? What colour? I can do by Thursday”.

White people usually abuse their customers, alert the media, and call the police. It’s sad and pathetic.

  5. It’s interesting that I haven’t really heard anything regarding the second amendment after Trump was elected. I’m concerned that he may throw gun owners under the bus.

To wit, this was an email message I received from Gun Owners of America (GOA) asking for help.
    ____________

Unfortunately, it appears that gun owners were right to be concerned about the appointment of Attorney General Pam Bondi.

According to leaked information that is being reported by the New York Times and now also by pro-gun YouTubers like Jared (of Guns & Gadgets) and Braden Langley, Bondi is considering recommending a “non-ideological” person who is an “older, more seasoned LEO” to be the new head of the ATF.

Her shortlist allegedly includes several former and current top ATF officials!

To put it bluntly, that would be a DISASTER for the Second Amendment.

Biden’s head of the ATF Steven Dettelbach was an “older, non-ideological, more seasoned LEO” – and as millions of gun owners are painfully aware, he spent years leading an all-out assault on our 2A rights!

You know who else was a “seasoned LEO?” The anti-gun radical David Chipman – whose nomination to lead the Biden ATF was torpedoed thanks to GOA members like you. Also, during his first administration, President Trump chose anti-gun president of the Fraternal Order of Police Chuck Canterbury and GOA members had to spend months fighting to tank his nomination.

It would be a mistake for a “pro-gun” administration to appoint another “seasoned” bureaucrat who knows nothing about the Second Amendment.

That’s why we need YOUR help urging President Trump to ensure the appointment of a strict constitutionalist who both understands firearms and who won’t tolerate the ATF’s war on the Second Amendment.

    1. Just a news story from Australia. SYDNEY, Feb 6 (Reuters) – Australia passed tough anti-hate crime laws on Thursday, including mandatory minimum sentences for terror offences and displaying hate symbols, in a bid to tackle a recent surge in antisemitism.
The laws will impose minimum jail sentences between 12 months for less serious hate crimes, such as giving a Nazi salute in public, and six years for those found guilty of terrorism offences.
“I want people who are engaged in antisemitism to be held to account, to be charged, to be incarcerated,” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who had initially opposed mandatory minimum sentences for hate crimes, told Sky News.

          1. Good point. I watch a lot of these expat videos on YouTube and they’re a bunch of moral hazards looking for some young foreign woman. They’re usually pensioners, too. They think they’re big fishes in a small pond.

And the young expats are a bunch of libtards who are scared of political regime change. Like that makes any difference anyway.

          1. The West is experiencing a gradual retreat and by the time we look at the US and its erosion of freedoms, the Commonwealth will be an absolute prison gulag system.

I look at Canada and there’s no way that the United States will lose more of its freedoms than Canada at any given time. Canada looks like a prison already. The cost of living in the United States looks like an absolute bargain compared to Canada, Australia, England, etc. Look at Australia and by the time the United States gets to look like Australia, Australia will probably have been taken over by CCP China Navy.

Relatively speaking, the United States will always have more freedoms than anywhere else in the West.

Any country that gives up their firearms rights deserves to have tyranny. Just ask the Soviets and Chinese communists.

I look at the entire world and all of the Nations during the covid injection campaigns and the lockdowns, and the United States came away the cleanest. Of course, we’re not supposed to live in the blue areas. Whenever I travel to a red area, the worst regulations they had were to wear masks. Many of the red areas weren’t demanding injections and they certainly weren’t having gulag quarantine centers.

Only places like New York City had vaccine passports. Don’t live there. The 10th amendment of the Constitution is a very important one and the states have a lot of latitude.

            1. Texe Marrs wrote in 1990:

“:Entrance into heaven’ declares Djwal Khul, ‘is entrance into the Aquarian Age…and Piscean (Christian) forces will be receding rapidly'”

We entered the Aquarian age 20Jan2025. The Mark is coming soon, everywhere.

              1. I miss listening to these older folk like Texe Marrs. Very few people are replacing what’s been lost. So much wisdom is gone.

Trump is carrying out his orders and the chess pieces are all in place.

        1. Regarding the Australian hate crime laws. This is more evidence of who thoroughly controls the West if not the entire world. The (((Central Bankers))).

  6. I say this much, the Trump regime is leaving all of the liberal global organizations. He’s saying the right things regarding South Africa. Its government is expropriating land from whitey, and any government expropriating land from my fellow caucasians is not a friend of mine. But then again, any government expropriating land from anybody is not a friend of mine.

Marco Rubio Pulls Out of G20 Summit Over ‘Very Bad’ Focus on DEI and Climate

Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he won’t attend the G20 summit in Johannesburg later this month, saying South Africa’s support for DEI and climate change policies are “very bad things.”

“I will NOT attend the G20 summit,” Rubio wrote in a post on X, saying, “South Africa is doing very bad things. Expropriating private property. Using G20 to promote ‘solidarity, equality, & sustainability.’ In other words: DEI and climate change.”

It would be highly unusual for the secretary of state to skip a G20 summit, one of the most important dates in the diplomatic calendar which is attended by leaders of the world’s wealthiest countries.

    1. Trump is doubling down and I believe he’s serious! The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting. The Palestinians … would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region,” Trump said in a Truth Social post building on his controversial comments about Gaza’s future this week.

      1. What do you know! Trump has just announced a new faith office, and his personal spiritual adviser is going to run it. Senior Advisor to President Trump of Faith and Opportunity Initiative, Pastor Paula worked closely with faith leaders and the Trump administration in helping move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, the bringing together of three Abrahamic religions to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue with the signing of the Abrahamic Accords in 2020 by representatives from Bahrain, Emirates, Israel, and the United States, recognition of Israel’s biblical sovereignty in the Golan Heights, signing an executive order that recognizes “anti-Zionism” as “antisemitism,” and so much more!
So how do you recognize a “christan”? Do they support fake Israel of course!

        1. I know of Christians that think it’s funny that the Palestinians are getting wiped out and couldn’t care less.

Israel is #1 because “it says so in the Bible”.

If only they realised what that interpretation of the Bible meant for them, they might be less enthusiastic about it all.

  7. Meanwhile in Eurasia, Putin’s military people are dropping like flies….

Two top Russian colonels plunge from high windows with one killed and the other left fighting for life as spate of mysterious deaths involving Putin officials continues

    1. I wouldn’t believe any Russia/Ukraine news. Except that the Demonrats stole 100’s of billions of dollars from the USA treasury to send over there. Sensitive military information isn’t leaked to the public. Gotta have something to entertai the armchair Generals. Wouldn’t doubt the writers for the dailymail are homosexuals. I also don’t think any deportations have occured that weren’t already scheduled. It’s all talk. Trump recently stated for the USA to take control of Gaza and turn it a resort area. I’ll bet that was always the plan. Israeli intellignece is Hamas, ISIS, etc. they are in control of the region, there isn’t a resistance that shoots bottle rockets over a fence and makes an attack with bicycles.

With all the hokey stuff affecting the markets I haven’t made any trades this year. Probably do the usually 10 cent scalps soon.

      1. What are you waiting for? Keep scalping. I have rarely seen a better environment for trades and scalps than now. Every sell off is met with more buying. Sports teams payrolls, corporate revenue and earnings, rents, egg prices, all keep rising.

    1. Bob,
King Abdullah is well aware, and has been for sometime that Jordan is to be folded into Greater Israel.
Jordan has been controlled by the House of Saud the past 100 years, the king, and his father serving as figure heads, (in name only), just like Trump.
The House of Saud,(crypto jews), ergo Jordan, is controlled/directed by the City of London.
The mason, Abdullah will play an integral role in fanning the flame of worldwide mulim hate, and more importantly retaliation through his command over sleeper cells throughout the western world.

    2. It makes perfect sense. None of this stuff works in isolation. I have been talking for a decade now online in my writings about the force majeure. None of this works in isolation. We are looking at the end times from all different angles and coming up with the same conclusion.

The Great Reset IS the Great tribulation.

To quote Saul Goodman; It’s the end times, kid, the end times.

  8. Great article. It is clear the Democrats since Bill Clinton are out of touch with their ultra left ideas and at the same time serve the wealthy elitists that they claim to despise. However, this is part of the dialectic process from up top to keep humanity distracted. Before Biden, Israel was untouchable. Then suddenly in 2023 Israel was the demon and now Israel is great again. Leftist homosexual tranny politics and DEI were the big thing. Now it is completely out. There has been a lot of sudden shifting in politics and media bias lately. This sudden shifting of gears is definitely coming down from the top and it is designed to distract us and trap us flatfooted.

I warn so called conservatives to stay away from these shifts. Do not get caught up with the mood of the times. These political moods will shift again just like an unpredictable psychotic lady. I don’t like Communists nor the leftist Democrats, but I guarantee they will be back with a vengeance as the SOS sees fit to change the political mood towards the left.

  9. ” The dialectic process inches the nation ever so closer towards a functional dictatorship.”
    WELL STATED!

    1. The US Treasury is now headed up by a George Soros-backed homosexual. The Bible is clear on this, we are not to trust homosexuals and other types of double minded people. A homosexual who is George Soros back will always be someone we can’t trust on any level. Just because Trump picks him doesn’t mean he’s okay. In fact, I say Bessent is a change agent designed to keep the spending going, so that the United States blows itself up from World War III.

  10. Midnight Express! That’s what I thought also! I remember seeing the movie years ago. Deplorable! I suspect we will see the deterioration if the first amendment as time goes by! In a very specific way!
